Subject: Day 13

Hi Friend,

We had a mixed bag.

One winner and one loser. At least the winner was 30% bigger than what we lost!

So a small, but okay profit on the games. England had a nice balance to themselves as I wrote in the e-mail I sent out half an hour before kick-off.

England looked quite in control most of the game. Croatia brought out their muscle of experience to beat Scotland 3-1. What a goal by Modric!

BETTING FOR WEDNESDAY:

17:00 - Sweden v Poland

Bet:
Double Chance Sweden/Poland (1.59 on the Exchange)

Stake: £15

The bet we are doing here is in the double chance market. Instead of picking a win/draw, we are picking a win for either side.

20:00 - Germany v Hungary

Bet: Germany -1 goal handicap. (1.56 on the exchange) - (this market might also be Hungary +1) - It's a bet that requires Germany win by at least a 1 goal margin.
Stake: £12

20:00 - Portugal v France

Bet # - Both Teams to score - Yes (1.98 on the Exchange)
Stake: £15

ANALYSIS - SWEDEN v POLAND

Sweden sit on 4 points in the group while Poland sit one 1. A draw is fine for Sweden but it's difficult to go out and play for one. Poland will have to try and win the game if they want to qualify so at some stage, this game has to become quite open.

Poland will be happy with the point that they took off Spain last game. Sweden will be happy with the 3 points last game because it makes this match just a little easier for them.

ANALYSIS - GERMANY v HUNGARY

Hungary were good against France and took a great point in that game. The thing is, I think that also down to French inefficiency.

This game is also being played in Munich which I think will be a big help. The game against France was in Budapest in front of a big crowd and that spurred them on.

I expect Germany to win this by more than 1. That is why we have gone for the handicap bet in this one.

Feels like 2-0.

ANALYSIS - PORTUGAL v FRANCE

This is a tricky one. France were average last game and Portugal looked tactically clueless against a wing back formation.

The French player a more conventional back 4 so Portugal may find it a little easier just based on that. The group is tight. All 3 big names should qualify (providing Germany beat Hungary).

Even a loss for Portugal should be enough for them and France already have 4 so they are also fine.

If I had to pick a result here.... 1-1
