Eastern Screw Covid-19 Update

To our valued customers,

During this critical and trying time, we wanted to take a moment to reassure our customers that we stand ready to fill their fastener needs. We are also making sure that we are taking the necessary precautions and implementing new protocols to ensure the safety and security of our employees and their families. It is important to note that the situation is very fluid, and we cannot predict the future. Eastern Screw Co is committed to fulfilling our promise to our customers and keeping their supply chain intact.

In preparation for this situation, we have taken the following steps to help ensure our customer’s supply chain to the best of our abilities by doing the following…

     - No products being sourced from China or Europe directly

     - Our Domestic Manufacturing division stands ready to make any products within 

       our capabilities. We have increased our raw material inventory where possible.

     - Rush manufacturing runs/ Break-Ins Available

     - Overlapping Supply Chains to help ensure availability

     - Working closely with our partners in our supply chain and logistics to build

        up inventory where possible. We are in close contact with our vendors to 

        help address any situations that may arise. 

     - Robust Inventories on standard and hard to find fasteners in addition

       to your contracted inventory.

     - Multiple stocking locations to help minimize the risk of independent

       location closures mandated by local government.

If your needs change, please let us know immediately so we can do everything possible to meet your requirements.

It remains our goal to continue the same level of service that our customers have been accustomed to even during these difficult times. Outside of contracts and Blanket Agreements our inventory would be first come first serve (as it is with our vendors), so we do encourage our customer to plan-ahead and send in formal requirements with release schedules to help ensure delivery. While we do feel our inventory levels are sufficient at the moment, this serious situation is changing rapidly. Your individual blanket orders and contract items are already assured as always.
