Subject: Do you know the smelly truth behind Amazon's awesomeness?

Do you buy from Amazon? It's been a while that I did but not because of that cringe-worthy article about Amazon that I just read.

Turns out, our favorite e-commerce store has a certain kind of darkness veiling it. For example:

"A former Amazon warehouse worker described being stopped in his tracks by an 'awful smell' emanating from the trash cans. The stench, he said, was 'unmistakable' and led him to one conclusion:

His coworkers were so worried about taking too long on a bathroom break that... ...they had resorted to urinating in the bin."

Wow, that's bad.

But it gets worse.

There are certain employees, called "pickers".

They move around the warehouse on a predetermined route to collect items for delivery, scanning each one with a handheld scanner, which times the length between scans.

They NEED to hit a certain number of scans per hour.

Otherwise?

A manager will show up to see what they're doing.

Get enough of those "visits" and you're fired.

But here's what made me really mad...

An Amazon spokeswoman denied the article's claims.

According to her:

"Amazon provides a safe and positive workplace for thousands of people. We are committed to treating every one of our associates with dignity and respect. We don't recognize these allegations as an accurate portrayal of activities in our buildings."

Yeah, whatever dear.

Generic answers like that reek of bull's manure.

It's amazing how twisted a working environment can get.

And it will only get worse.

Personally, I'm glad I got out of this boss-eat-employee game.

Nowadays I visit the bathroom whenever I want.

My daily targets are determined by me.

I don't have to endure supervisors who have never worked hard in their entire lives.

And today, I want to show you how to achieve this type of freedom for yourself.

Make it a great day!

PS: I keep wondering because those companies make millions and millions and yet they resort to treat their employees and pay them this badly. I wonder what kind of Karma they are loading on their shoulders. Or what it takes for these people to show them their 🖐️ (pick one)... finger...
