The following is important information for Speakers and Moderators at the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo beginning Saturday, March 12.
I had to re-juggle some moderator assignments because of the moderator's personal changes in their schedule over the weekend. I built reports so that you can see the presentation flow and by your name and presentations.
All of the presentations are inside of a Restream.io integration with vFairs. We did a training last night for many of the moderators who came. It was recorded and I will post this training video at: https://qsotodayhamexpo.com/backstage.html so that you can see it. It is not yet ready, but will be ready on Friday.
The presentation videos will be preloaded into your specific session by vFairs. If it is not there, then you can pull it from the Video Storage by clicking on the + plus sign at the bottom of the screen to the left of the settings button.
There are some presentations that will be live (Live Webinar with Q&A) if we don’t get the video in time. This is ok and is marked on the Moderator Presentation Assignments list. If the speaker has a video presentation ready, he can upload it to the platform. If he has slow upload, then he needs to allow for time to upload it. Otherwise, he can do his presentation by sharing his screen.
I encourage you to contact your partner (speakers and moderators) before the Expo for about 20 minutes to Go Live, Start the Video, turn on and off the video, and yourselves to become familiar with the system. It will not broadcast anywhere. It will be recorded so that you have a souvenir of your test run.

I know that everything will run smoothly. I will not return to the Expo until 10:30 AM PST on Saturday after the Sabbath ends in Israel (that is the advantage of being 10 hours ahead of California - I can attend my own Expo).
