I've been turning into a fan of music again after years of creating with the mindset of being competitive. Reversing that mindset has been tough but I'm getting there. I've been listening to everything from Genz Rap to Boomer Bars and it's been interesting. There's been one common thread between all the age ranges.... SAMPLES.

A really good sample behind some fire drums always sets the mood. Whether it's Boom Bap, Drill. West Coast, Trap... Samples are still at the core of it all.

Whenever I'm trying to find inspiration my first goal is always to find a common thread. Something that I CAN relate to & I think most of the time as YOUNG BOOMERS we tend to try to find what's wrong. Here's what I can say...

THERE'S A WHOLE LOTTTA HOT GIGGIDY GARBAGE ACROSS THE BOARD.

Old heads rapping TOO ON BEAT... Youngbloodz rapping TOO OFF BEAT... Terrible mixing & mastering. BUT people are being creative and I genuinely appreciate that more than anything. They're all getting attention from a wide demo of people & that's a first in history.
