Recently I've noticed an uptick in passing's in the hip hop community. So many people taking their own lives and or succumbing to drugs. This bothers my SOUL because the indie artist community literally has fed me & my family for 11 years. A lot of these artists that are blowing up used my beats for their FIRST SONG! So this hits super close to home.
I understand if you're feeling down. This music journey isn't easy & most people around us don't understand it. We live with a passion for creation & art. Using our life to paint a picture with sound for the masses, that unfortunately sometimes never gets heard.
I've been in the same shoes & it's taken me 11 years to stabilize a career in music that I honestly sometimes hate lol. We are an imbalanced species I must say.
I just want you to know that I care & I want to be here for you if you're in that place. Giving words of guidance to get through it. Balancing art & business is tuff & I'm making it more of my mission to provide you the information needed to balance that out to the best of my ability.
