I read this book called the "10x Rule" and have been applying this logic called "5 Second Rule". Putting 10x productivity with a fraction of the thinking time will MAKE ME have to adjust quickly in situations I would normally procrastinate on. I urge you to do the same with music. If you're not recording once a day you're pretty much bullshitting. You can't use not having a studio as an excuse anymore when you can learn how to record yourself, mix & master on YouTube.
