Why are you not sending me music?
Ive been supplying instrumentals to artists over 11 years now and I still hear them say they have songs from 2006 that they haven't put out.
Its frustrating because a lot of these artists are really good and no one will ever hear their music. They always make an excuse as to why they don't put out the music.
In 2018 if you're not an established artists then you need to put music out more frequently.
Creating an album is great and all but most listeners attention span is shot. Think about yourself , what are you currently listening to? How much of an album are you actually listening to? (I know I'll get some "musical" replies but let's be honest...)
This is the best time to be independent, you have so much control over your audience with tools like Instagram, Facebook, and youtube. To be honest when I look at most artists social media their using it as a "Personal Outlet" instead of a business tool.
Even Spotify is offering advances to artists now. So much has changed with the internet and there are so many opportunities being missed.
Theres a reason why I try to be as affordable as I can, and offer free downloads. I really want to see you win.
I put out a 500 beats pack for $99 and still heard excuses. A lot of artists are just holding themselves back. Put out the music stop storing songs on your computer. No one is stopping you but yourself.
