I had an epiphany 7 years ago in 2012. I realized that artists that buy beats from me are special. They literally almost all have 9 to 5's & families and literally take money out of their pocket and go to my website and purchase music that I create in my home studio so that I can feed my family and live my dream. Somewhere around 2015-16 I lost sight of that...
I got so enveloped in business & money and became super inconsistent with music. I made some bangers don't get me wrong BUT I wasn't consistent. I lost sight of why I make music... It's for me. I know I sell it to others, but I make music for me. That's why my music has/had feeling. When I go through any emotion I express it in the color of sound. I think that's why a lot of artists would buy from me and not others... They could FEEL the energy. I lost that for a while & I apologize for that. I also apologize for not giving more attention to YOU as my customer.
So to mend I want to connect with YOU I want to hear what you have to say. I want to know what YOU need as an artist. I propose a challenge to the producers in my mentor program that I teach. I told them that when i started I would talk to at least 10 artists a day on the phone PERSONALLY back in 2007... it's 2019 now & I want to start this again. I created a DISCORD to be able to do this in. I get a lot of artists that are interested in building with me & getting to know me personally. They want me to become their producer.
