What's good Fam?

I always try to keep artists up to date with current issues with technology and how it conflicts with the business that we've done. A lot of artists just purchase and beats and release and don't understand what's going on.

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY!!! And all the way through.

Within the EPIK BEATS CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT in section (6 - Restrictions Of Use) it states that:

"THE LICENSEE IS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM REGISTERING THE BEAT AND/OR NEW SONG WITH ANY CONTENT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM, SERVICE PROVIDER, MUSIC DISTRIBUTOR, RECORD LABEL OR DIGITAL AGGREGATOR."

A lot of artists mistake this in saying that you can NOT distribute the music to SPOTIFY or YOUTUBE. NO this is not the case it is stating that you can NOT claim this music as YOURS via YOUTUBE and other social media sites like (Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, Twitch) etc.

Reason being is that this beat is NOT EXCLUSIVELY OWNED BY YOU ( I do not offer that purchasing option). So when you claim this song ON MY BEAT it does not recognize your vocals.. It recognizes my beat IN TURN taking down not only OTHER SONGS that artists have done but also TAKING MY BEATS DOWN AS WELL.

So this is a heads up!!!

I have created A SONG LIST with all of the songs that are subject to be taken down for COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. I need you to SEE IF YOUR SONG IS ON THE LIST..

If it is please contact me so we can get things worked out so your song doesn't get taken off all platforms.

This is not a threat or anything, this is just business. This is more of a TUNECORE/Distrokid/aggregator problem than anything & I have to protect the rights of my music and the ability for all customers (like you0 to use my beats for what they purchase.

My music isn't the only one at stake. Blessings.
