I've been releasing a series of 1 HOUR BEATS lately & I got a couple people accusing me of using AI to make beats. This was offensive and also flattering at the same time lol. I assured the bro that I'm not, BUT let him know that I DO use AI for my Thumbnails.
After this encounter I decided to revisit the SUNO.AI music creator. After listening to 10 - 15 songs it's created & also creating a series of my own I completely understood why he made this accusation. 1 he was new to the channel & didn't know that I have enough beats to release 1 hour beats 3 times a week for 2 years BUT also... If you're a novice at music you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an AI creator and a SENTIENT creator. This sent me into a bit of a spiral. Not because I didn't already know... But people don't know... In 2024 THIS IS THE WORST THAT AI WILL EVER BE. It will only get BETTER and FAST!
My Opinion On The Future Of AI and Music/People:
As someone who's used technology to make music & market music since 2006 I want to give you my 1000% honest opinion on the direction that AI is taking. I don't mean to be a DOOMER what so ever BUT I have to give out my personal warning.
WE ARE FUCKED lol.
Let me explain....
Humans in 2024 are a result of the evergreen chase of CONVENIENCE. Our food, our jobs, our cars, our watches, our clothes, our houses, our entertainment, our MUSIC!!!! are all served to us on a platter that we as individuals enjoy....
No contrast... No conflict... No push back... JUST CONVENIENCE. And nothing will know how to serve this better than A.I..
WHY IS THIS A BAD THING?
I was watching a producer (Dame Taylor) talk about the use of loops/pre-made samples the other day. At first I didn't agree with his stance on the use of loops. They make it easier to get to your idea at a faster/more efficient rate & the music ends up just being better. It induces the collaborative process without having to go through the headache... Good right?... Wrong..
Imagine yourself as a kid... And A.I. is the candy store.. The only difference between when you were young & now is that YOUR PARENTS aren't there for contrast & limitation... What happens to a kid in a candy store if he eats too much candy???

Lol.. I hear you through the screen RN. You're correct about all of those things, but it doesn't make it RIGHT. It's doesn't make it GOOD & it doesn't make it HUMAN. We're slowly conforming to bots and we don't even know it.
It reminds of this show I just started watching "SHOGUN" when the Japanese ruler realizes he's being infiltrated by the Portuguese through the means of Christian spirituality.
