I was having a conversation with the wife about artists & how "If I was an artist today" how would I push my music?? I came up with a fast strategy BUT it all included spending money.
I quickly realized that rappers/artists have a financial road block & in my personal experience rappers are the least likely to WANT to spend the money. Not on beats/recording or the creative process but on marketing.... THIS IS THE MOST CRUCIAL PART.
There is a place for you no matter what level you're at, you just haven't found it. A lot of creatives look at other creatives and try to jump into the same boat as them OR talk down on them as if they're not good BUT the reality is... They're jealous that they're not getting the attention.
If you're not doing music to make a living, you have no place to speak. If you are making music to make money you're not going to speak because you're TOO BUSY FOCUSING ON YOUR GROWTH AND NOT OTHERS!!!! I don't see anyone else, I only focus on myself and my following THAT'S IT.
I'm going to be upping in output of music and marketing in 2024. Honestly if you're just a hobby artist and you don't want to hear it I suggest getting off this list & away from my socials lol. More info & opportunity otw. - EPIK
