OFFERED BY MARCY VAUGHN AND GABRIEL ROCCO

The Next 9-month Online Compassion Project

There are still some spaces available in the next online 9-month Compassion Project program, which starts on October 20, and will be led by Marcy and me.

This is an opportunity to study and practice connecting to your inherent, immeasurable compassion with an international community of people committed to being kind to their own suffering and the suffering of others. The 9-month Compassion Project program supports you to apply 3 Doors meditation practices into your daily life to:

· Reduce stress and renew energy
· Address feelings of overwhelm or burnout
· Process difficult or painful relationships
· Connect with oneself and others from a place of presence and compassion
· Recognize and appreciate spontaneous moments of joy

Currently in its sixth year, this program serves global healthcare professionals, educators, therapists, caregivers, and anyone who is motivated by compassion.

No prior meditation experience is necessary.

You can find a more robust description of the next Compassion Project here:

Research on positive outcomes for participants in the Compassion Project was recently published in the journal, Current Psychology, and can be found here:

CANCER AND CAREGIVERS - OCTOBER 30 AND 31st

A MEDITATION PROGRAM FOR PERSONS TOUCHED BY CANCER
If you, as a patient or caregiver, or if a family member or friend has been touched by a diagnosis of cancer or is providing care, consider finding support by registering for this program: Cancer and Caregivers.

Please share this information with anyone who might benefit from this weekend retreat.

As patients, caregivers, or family members, we need support in the journey through a cancer diagnosis.  Join me and my dear friend and dharma brother, Alejandro Chaoul, for this interactive online workshop as we explore mind-body practices that have been taught and researched at MD Anderson Cancer Center, among other clinical and non-clinical settings.

Learn how simple and powerful ancient Tibetan meditation practices of mind, body and breath can:
  • Provide daily support for living with, going through treatments, and recovering from cancer.
  • Support stress management, specifically around preparing for treatments and awaiting diagnosis.
  • Calm the overactive, anxious mind, opening a more relaxed and aware state of being.
  • Shift one’s perspective around physical and emotional pains for a greater sense of well-being.
  • Assist you in connecting more deeply to yourself and others.
Alejandro and I are Senior Teachers of The 3 Doors, an international organization (founded by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche) dedicated to transforming lives through meditation practices grounded in wisdom and compassion, and The Mind Body Spirit Institute of the Jung Center.

No prior meditation experience is necessary.
