"It ain't over, till it's over" ~ Yogi Berra
Unfortunately, Yogi's quote seems relevant as the Covid delta variant prolongs the uncertainty of how long we will be living with this pandemic and the confusion about how to protect ourselves and others.
Meditation is certainly not a cure for Covid, but it can support us to find a refuge of inner well-being amidst the stress, isolation, and anxiety triggered by the pandemic.
Practicing in community is an additional benefit. I'll be offering Thursday meditation sessions, a weekend retreat, and pointing you toward the Compassion Project 21-22 Online that Marcy and I are presenting via Zoom beginning in October.
Newsletter Highlights This Month:
- VIRTUAL FIRST THURSDAY GUIDED MEDITATION HEALING CIRCLE ON AUGUST 5th
- VIRTUAL THURSDAY HALF HOUR MEDITATION SESSIONS ON AUGUST 12th, 19th, and 26th, 2021
- VIRTUAL WEEKEND RETREAT ON AUGUST 21st AND 22nd
- COMPASSION PROJECT 21-22 ONLINE PRESENTED BY MARCY AND GABRIEL - Please scroll down to the bottom of the newsletter for more information.

THURSDAY MORNING MEDITATION SESSIONS
|
| | There is a luminous, healing space of refuge within each one of us. It is important to make time to visit often and connect to the warmth of our nature. It is a prescription for liberating ourselves from unnecessary emotional reactivity; developing the capacity to host the pains of illness, loss, and grief; and remembering that others suffer just as we do, without exception, due to age, gender/sexual orientation, geographic location, ancestral origin, or political affiliation.
This month I'm offering virtual, half hour guided meditation sessions on Thursdays: 7/12, 7/19, and 7/26 @ 11 AM Eastern time. Everyone is welcome! There is no fee.

I am scheduling three hour and one-half periods for meditation on both days: 10:30 am to Noon, 1 pm to 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm to 5 pm. Please save the dates and times.
I am not requiring a commitment. You are welcome to join me for the entire retreat or attend as many or as few sessions that fit your personal weekend schedule. I am not requesting a fee, donations based on your participation are not necessary but warmly appreciated.
I'll send out an update with more information closer to the retreat dates. For now, mark your calendars and consider safeguarding some retreat time for yourself.
