This week we celebrated World Environment Day! 🌎 It’s the perfect moment to reflect on how we can make a positive impact on our planet. 💪🏻🙏🏻 Whether you’re an avid recycler ♻, a passionate tree planter 🌳, or someone who’s just starting to think about reducing their carbon footprint, every little action counts in the fight for a healthier Earth!
For many years now, countries have been using this opportunity for raising awareness and taking action on critical environmental issues, from pollution to biodiversity conservation. 💪🏻🌎 This year's theme is "Ecosystem Restoration," encouraging us to reimagine, recreate, and restore our natural habitats. We often forget that we have a big responsibility towards our community, hence the environment. & it’s quite easy for us to be the change we want to see around us. Changing our small daily habits can have a huge impact on restoring our environment. Here are some quick & easy ways we can all contribute for a better tomorrow: 🙏🏻👇🏻
Reduce, reuse & recycle - Pause & think about whether I can recycle this item before throwing it in the bin, ♻
Eat sustainable food - choose locally grown & organic food. This support local farmers and reduce the cardon footprint associated with food production and transportation.
Plant a tree or gift a tree or simple gift some seeds 🌳
If possible, switch to renewable energy such as solar. Even small changes, like using energy-efficient appliances and LED bulbs, can make a big difference! ☀🌬
Please refer to the attached circular letter dated 6 June 2024 issued by the FSC in relation to the payment of renewal fees for 2024/2025. Note that the due date for the payment of license fees if 1 July 2024.
Change to the Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing Rules)
The FSC has amended the Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing and Fees) Rules. You may refer to the attached.
Note the following substantial changes:
A licence for a GBC and special licence will lapse within 15 days of renewal date if no payment is made (Previously 3 months)
Application for reinstatement should be made within 3 months of being lapsed (Previously 12 months)
Reinstatement for AC has been increased to USD150 (USD100 now).
Also all incremental fees for late payment of annual fees has been removed (You have only one threshold now – within 15 days).

📢 It is all over the news and place! The most awaited Budget 2024/2025 will be announced today afternoon! As for the previous years, the teams in the different BUs will be camping in the office to release the Budget Brief as soon as possible. Someone said 'it gonna be fun' 😂 Well, well, well, we guessed so?

Bowling: Individual Scratch and Handicap Tournament
Kong and Mayur participated in a bowling tournament last Sunday and finished 18th and 5th respectively.
Bowling Hunt: Intercompany tournament
Mauritius Bowling Federation is organizing a knock out tournament this coming Monday 17 June 2024 as from 5pm.
A team of 3 ladies is required to represent ITL. Ishika will be participating and requires 2 teammates.
