FSC Communique

In line with its transparent regulatory policy-making process, the Financial Services Commission (“FSC”) has issued a Consultation Paper on the strategic developments and repercussions of the metaverse for the financial services industry in Mauritius. Please refer to the attached communique and consultation paper to know more.

Financial Action Task Force Updates

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has released an update on the FATF Jurisdictions under Increased Monitoring list.


Whilst Bulgaria has been added to the list, the below jurisdictions are no longer featured therein:

  2. Cayman Islands

  3. Jordan

  4. Panama

AfrAsia Bank has launched its 24/7 custody portal entitled 'AfrAsia InvestPro' on Wednesday 1 November 2023.


The online portal offers users a fast, easy and secure access to international financial markets. Users can avail of a user-friendly dashboard to analyse their custody portfolios and navigate through a comprehensive set of investment parameters.

Bowling


Kong and Mayur from our ITLians Bowling Club participated in a tournament organised by the Mauritius Bowling Federation at Gravity MAX last Sunday.


Shout-out to our famous duo “Kong and Mayur” for winning the double scratch league! 🎉👍


Mayur on an individual performance made it to the third place in the individual scratch league.


Out of 16 teams for the double scratch league, we had only 1 team from ITLians Bowling Club and they still managed to bag the first place.
