Communique from Standard Bank

Kindly note that Monday 28 August 2023 will be a Bank holiday in the United Kingdom. Hence, no payments in GBP can be effected for value date 28 August 2023.

Communique from Investec Bank (Mauritius) Limited

Kindly note that Investec Bank (Mauritius) Limited is moving their office to The Strand in Beau Plan as from Monday 11 September.

Consequently, they will be vacating from their current office in Port Louis on Friday 25 August and their teams will be working from home from 28 August 2023 to 8 September.

For those who registered for the hike for tomorrow, Saturday 26 August 2023, we hope you are all geared up for the activity! 💪🌎

A mail has been circulated yesterday with all the details and the Do's & Don'ts - please find below key ones:

Do's:

Please bring a backpack with only the necessary things and 1L water bottle and snacks for the road 🎒
Dress code: we guess it is quite obvious --> sportswear 👟🧢
You are welcome to bring your swimsuits and towel should you wish to have a small swim at Le Bouchon 🩱🥽
You may also bring spare clothes to change after the hike.

Don'ts:

No smoking or alcoholic drinks allowed

Transport:

For those residing in the North, West and East regions, you are reminded to be at Alexander House by latest 7:45 AM!

For those residing in the South, Curepipe and Nouvelle France, you should have already received instructions for pick up points by now.

Don't worry for your way back home - you will be dropped off at your door.

We hope you are as excited as we are!! 😊 Please do take some breathtaking photos - we can make those who did not come a little bit jealous in next week's gazette. 😉
