Tropical depression approaching Mauritius

We wish to inform you that a Cyclone Warning Class 2 is in force in Mauritius. A Tropical depression is approaching our region and weather conditions are expected to deteriorate.


Current status:

  • Our offices remain open and this is a normal working day.

  • Our services continue to operate as usual.


In the event of a Cyclone Class 3 being announced by the Mauritius Meteorological Services, please note the following:


  1. Our office and all banks in Mauritius will be closed. We will resume normal business operations once the Class 3 warning is downgraded or all warnings are removed.

  2. In case of damage to telecommunications facilities and/or any power cuts, our access to emails may be impacted.

We regret any inconvenience that could be caused by the weather conditions and should you wish to know more, please consult the Mauritius Meteorological Services website here.

Additionally, we would like to inform you that Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 (Maha Shivaratri) is a public holiday in Mauritius.


Please note that our office and all banks will be closed tomorrow.
