1. Filing of Returns/Statements

     The MRA has issued a communique, as per attached, on 16 June 2023 informing companies that,

     where no tax is payable or a loss is declared and the company is unable to submit the return by the

     due date of 28 June 2023, no penalty for late submission of the return will be charged by the

     Director-General, provided the return is submitted on or before 14 July 2023.

2. Launching of ESSNAC Survey 2023  

     The FSC is launching the External Sector Statistics and the National Accounts (ESSNAC) Survey.

     A. Downloading of Survey forms and Guidelines

           Please access your ODCS profile and go to (i) Section Surveys -> Entities Under Administration

           -> ESSNAC Survey 2023

     B. Coverage of Entities

           Global Business Corporations (GBCs) under your management are covered in this survey.

     C. Submission of Survey Forms and deadline

           Survey form for each GBC under management should be completed and submitted through the

           ODCS platform by Tuesday, 1^st August 2023

3. 32^nd  IMF Bi-Annual Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey (CPIS) 2022 –

     Semester 2

     The FSC is launching the 32^nd IMF Bi-Annual CPIS 2022 - Semester 2 to collect data on securities

     held by residents of Mauritius issued by unaffiliated non-resident enterprises (referred to as

     Portfolio Investment) as at 31 December 2022  by country of the issuer.

     The IMF has launched the Second Annual Exchange of Sector Information on Securities' Issuers

     (ESI).

    A. Downloading of Survey forms and Guidelines

           i. ESI - Applicable to domestic companies only. Please access the survey form here:

           ii. CPIS 2022 S2 (Own Account) - Applicable for domestic companies reporting on own

           iii. CPIS 2022 S2 (Schemes) - Applicable for Long Term Insurers/ Pension Scheme

                 Administrators and CIS Managers reporting on domestic funds and pension schemes under

                 management. Go to Section Surveys -> Entities under Administration -> CPIS 2022 S2

                (Schemes)

     B. Submission of Survey Forms and deadline

          i. ESI - Survey forms will have to be submitted by email on cpis_survey@fscmauritius.org by

               Friday, 7^th July 2023.

          ii. CPIS 2022 S2 - Survey form will have to be submitted on ODCS platform by Friday, 7^th 

                July 2023.
