🤔 Guess what? Potatoes have been around for over 8,000 years! 😱 They originated in the Andes mountains of South America and were brought to Europe by Spanish explorers in the 16th century. From there, they took the world by storm, becoming a staple in cuisines everywhere. 👏🏻

💡 Oh, and here's a fun tip! Potatoes aren't just delicious; they're also super useful. Got a rusty old knife? Slice a potato and use it to clean the blade! Filing of accounts for the year ended December 2023

Please note that Companies having year end December 2023 are required to submit their accounts (audited/unaudited) by 30 June 2024.

Submission of tax return for the year ended December 2023

Every company, is required to file its annual return not later than six months from the end of the month in which its accounting year ends. Companies having year end 31 December 2023 are required to submit their annual tax return by 26 June 2024.

Submission of tax return for Trust and foundation having year end 31 December 2023

Please note that all trust and foundation set up after 30 June 2021 and having year end 31 December 2023 are required to submit a tax return to the MRA by 26 June 2024.

Fast track workshop

Some of our directors and GMs attended a two-day workshop on how to achieve the ultimate company performance in the age of AI. This event, organized by The Fast Track Way and YPO Mauritius, provided valuable insights on the driving forces shaping the future of business, the need to leverage AI to enhance our efficiency and a practical approach to strategy.

Webinar | Utilizing Mauritius as a Business Hub for Africa

Some of our colleagues attended an online webinar organised by the EDB in collaboration with the Japan Institute for Overseas Investment (JOI). The webinar focused on how to leverage Mauritius to hedge the business risks in Africa as well as the business advantages of Mauritius for African business among others. Francoise had the pleasure to present on The Mauritius Advantages for Doing Business in Africa.

ACCA and ICSA Presentations

ITL has organised a special presentation by leading professional bodies - ACCA and ICSA - under their revamped Study Assistance Scheme.

Who said we have to celebrate Mothers' Day only one day? 🎉🙏🏻

Level 4 organised a little get together to celebrate all the Moms out there! A little voice told us that seeing all these smiles on their face made their day and it was completely worth it. The team prepared a little gift for them - a beautiful rose and some delicious napolitains. 🌹 You can spot the beautiful smiles by yourselves.
