The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank has unanimously decided to keep the Key Rate (KR) unchanged at 4.50 per cent per annum. Check out the attached media release.
The Stock Exchange of Mauritius Total Return Index (SEMTRI) reaches All-Time-High on 29-March-2024
The Total-Return Index, SEMTRI, on the Official Market reached an All-Time-High of 9255.55 points at market close of 29-March-2024. Since the beginning of 2024, the SEMTRI realised a growth of 5.9 %. The Market capitalisation on the Official Market stands at Rs 338.3 billion at market close of 29-March-2024.

Following a 12-month process to collect and evaluate information, the FATF has published a table which sets out the status of implementation by FATF members and jurisdictions with materially important virtual asset service providers (VASP) activity of the FATF’s Standards on virtual assets and VASPs (Recommendation 15).
