The Bank of Mauritius has, under section 32A(6) of the Banking Act 2004, granted authorisation for The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited to transfer part of its undertaking to Absa Bank (Mauritius) Limited, effective 6 July 2024.
LETTER OF NO OBJECTION - Guidelines to Resident companies with turnover exceeding MUR 100M, Protected Cell companies, Global Businesses, Authorised Companies, Amalgamating Companies, Trusts and Foundations
Upon winding up of companies (resident companies, protected cell companies, global businesses, authorised companies, amalgamating companies, trusts and foundations), the relevant management companies, liquidators, trustees and administrators shall request a Letter of No Objection from the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) for onwards winding up procedures. You may refer to the attached communique from the MRA.
Kindly note that Monday 17 June 2024 will be a Bank holiday in South Africa.
Hence, No payments in ZAR can be effected for value date 17 June 2024.

Last Saturday, the lanes of the Mauritius Bowling Federation (MBF) glittered with excitement as the annual gala night unfolded, a celebration of outstanding achievements in the realm of bowling for the illustrious year of 2023.
🌟 Shining Stars: Among the evening's highlights were the well-deserved accolades bestowed upon Mayur and Kong. These bowling virtuosos were honored with special recognition trophies, standing proudly as the 5th and 7th ranked players, respectively, in Mauritius for the year 2023.
🎉 Club Pride: The prestigious ITLians Bowling Club shone brightly on the winner's podium as Mayur, Kong, and Ashive were called forth to claim their well-earned prizes. Their triumphs not only reflect individual prowess but also underscore the strength and camaraderie within our esteemed club.
