As we celebrate Easter🐣on Sunday 31 March, kudos to those parents who have scouted Pinterest over the past days looking for treasure hunt ideas and/or some decoration ideas for their kids. 🎈🎉🎨 Those of you who have not, well, you still got some time to ace it for a great family-fun time this weekend!

We hope the weather will not mess it up! 😥Let's not be pessimistic and we wish everyone Happy Easter and have a nice time with your families 😜

Mauritius ascends Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI 35) ranks, establishes firm footing as a premier financial destination

The Financial Services Commission, Mauritius (FSC) is pleased to inform stakeholders of the financial services industry and the public that, since the GFCI 34, Mauritius is now ranked 61^st (+7 places) in the GFCI 35, moving up 20 ranks since March 2023 (GFCI 33). FIU/Notice/2024/01 Registration Of Reporting Persons Pursuant To Section 14C Of The FIAMLA

Section 14C of the FIAMLA requires all reporting persons, as defined under the FIAMLA to register with the FIU, established under Section 9 of the FIAMLA. On 27^th March 2024, the FIU issued a Notice "FIU/Notice/2024/01” (as per attached) with respect to registration of reporting persons pursuant to Section 14C of the Financial Intelligence and Anti-Money Laundering Act (FIAMLA).

AfrAsia Bank released a communique sharing some helpful information regarding payment instructions to ensure that the international transactions are processed smoothly and securely. Check out the attached email for more information.

Absa Bank Communique - Fax Payment Instructions [Cut-off Date: 01 July 2024]

Absa Bank wishes to inform that, effective 1 July 2024, the bank will discontinue the acceptance of payment requests submitted by fax. They encourage to us their Absa Access Online (AAO) platform for all the payment processing needs. View the attached email for more details.

HSBC Communique - Corporate Card demise

Following their announcement on 13^th November 2023 that The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited has entered into an agreement to sell its Retail and SME business to ABSA, they will discontinue their corporate credit card program, which was primarily targeted to their retail banking segment.

As such, kindly note that your corporate credit card will be cancelled on Wednesday 1^st May 2024. View the attached email for more information.
