1. IMF Bi-Annual Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey (CPIS) 2023

The FSC is launching the 33^rd IMF Bi-Annual Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey 2023 - Semester 1 to collect data on securities held by residents of Mauritius issued by unaffiliated non-resident enterprises (referred to as Portfolio Investment) as at 30 June 2023 by country of the issuer.

Please note that this exercise (ESI) is applicable to domestic companies only. Refer to the attached email for more information.

2. Press Release - Caution Regarding VASPs

A press release has been issued following a review undertaken by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and the Registrar of Companies (ROC) of Virtual Asset (VA) and Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP) businesses claiming to be regulated in the Seychelles.

CASS | Training

Mauritius Finance Public Speaking Competition 2023

Our Colleague Aaliya, from Toorisha’s team, had the opportunity to participate in the Public Speaking Competition by Mauritius Finance held at Voila Hotel on last Friday 17^th November 2023.

The competition comprised of participants from different financial institutions who are members of Mauritius Finance and the topic discussed was about the shortage of staff on the market.

SPORTS CORNER

Bowling tournament

The Mauritius Bowling Federation is organising its last tournament for the year 2023 and it will end with a Trio Tournament.

The tournament will be held this Sunday at Strike City Flacq and will comprise of the following:

Trio scratch tournament
Trio handicap tournament
Single individual scratch tournament

One team from the ITLians Bowling Club, comprising of Kong, James and Mayur will be participating.

The MBF in view of the year end, is organizing an additional Duo Tournament with bowlers averaging below 150 points on Saturday and Kong & Yogesh will be representing our club.

Let’s hope our “King of the Alleys” ends the year on the podium.

A recap to the year 2019 where our King of the Alleys won the BCP Bowling tournament and Mayur won the best bowler award.
