What started as a clever way to settle pub arguments has turned into this massive annual celebration where folks from all over try to write their names in the history books. Rather lovely, isn't it? 🌈

🦅 Mauritius Kestrel's Amazing Comeback


The greatest recovery by a bird of prey species is the Mauritius kestrel (Falco punctatus), aka Crécerelle de Maurice, endemic to Mauritius. 🌴 The species was almost wiped out of existence by the late 20th century. In 1974, there were just four known kestrels left in the wild (only one of which was a breeding female) and two in captivity. 🔄 Its population is estimated at between 350 and 500, making it a record in terms of conservation ! 🌟



⚽ Football Rolling Champion


The most times to roll a football (soccer ball) around the head in 30 seconds is 14 and was achieved by Tarun Kumar Cheddy (Mauritius) 🏆, in Seizième Mille, Forest-side, Mauritius, on 12 March 2021. Tarun chose the date for his attempt to celebrate Mauritian independence day as well as his mother's birthday. 🎂 Tarun has so far earned seven record titles! 🌟




🍳 World's Largest Scrambled Eggs


Mauritius is title holder for the Largest scrambled eggs ever cooked. The very large and very scrambled egg weighted 2,466 kg! 🥚 After months of preparation the record was broken at Bagatelle Mall on 27th October 2018 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the country's largest egg production and distribution company. 🎯

Farewell Breakfast for Goonshika 🥐


Last Wednesday, the CASS Team came together for a farewell breakfast to bid farewell to Goonshika. Over coffee and pastries, they shared memories and wished her all the best for her next adventure. Goonshika's contribution to the team has been incredible, and she'll be truly missed. While the team is sad to see her go, they are excited for her new journey ahead. ✨

A fabulous birthday celebration at Andersen!


The Andersen team pulled out all the stops to surprise Devina for her birthday in the Good Lounge🎂 No birthday's complete without cake, right? The team tucked into a Red Velvet cake (and yes, it was just as scrummy as it looked!). Word has it that the cake didn't survive past teatime - always a good sign! 🥳
