Dear Friend

We want to ensure that everyone gets awarded their points correctly/accurately for social sharing actions taken in the Embird Black Friday Contest.

We have noticed a couple of social actions taken by contestants where they have not been awarded their points, most probably due to the steps not followed accurately or actions not completed according to the instructions, which may then lead to points not being awarded.

So we thought it may be worth quickly pointing out a couple of important things.

In the above image you will see that the instructions mentions to watch the YouTube video to the very end. Only at the very end of watching the video there will appear a green button to click on that will award you your points.

Now what we expect happens to some contestants is that they watch the YouTube video as instructed but then do not watch the video to the very end and then do not click on the green button at the very end of the video that will entitle them to their points.

So as you can see it is very important to follow the instructions very carefully in order to ensure you are awarded your points.

Another typical mistake we noticed can be seen from the example above. Contestants follow the actions to view the YouTube video, comment on the video and thumbs up the video but then neglect to fill out the box (What name did you comment under?) and then to hit the green arrow.

Only after doing so will this action appear under the review section where we will be able to check the user name vs the action and manually approve the points. If you forget that step, then obviously the points cannot/will not be awarded.

So how do I know that I got awarded the points for my actions?

If you look at the image below you will see that the actions completed in the contest are greyed out which means that you will be awarded your points and those actions cannot be completed again as it has already been completed.

How do I log into the contest?

Just in case anyone is still struggling to figure out how to login to the contest.

Click on the link below and you will see in the top right hand corner the word "login". Click on it and then simply slot in your email address you used to sign up to the contes and you will be right inside your contest page where you can see the social actions that will award you points in the contest and the leaderboard.
