Subject: One last thing

Dear Friend,

It's time to close the books on 2021, and what a year it has been for the Friendly Water for the World family. Together, we accomplished some big things this year. We worked with communities to press 27,000 bricks, build 8 rainwater catchment tanks, produce and sell over 6,000 liters of soap, create water security for 2,100 school students, facilitate engagements with two new communities, evaluate new water filters and rocket stoves, and have our work reach over 5,000 people.

In many ways, the year started with our Matsakha Community Engagement in 2019. It set the stage for a new path forward, new processes, a new model of community-led development, and new opportunities to scale our work. And just like this year, 2022 starts with a community engagement, this time with the people of Bulovi and Ivakale in Kambiri, Kenya, just before the calendar turns the page. Pictured here are the leaders of the new Kambiri Community Development Group (and Ezra, our Assistant Programs Manager). You'll be hearing a lot from them next year.

For all that we have accomplished, there are only two things left to say...

Thank You and Happy New Year!!!

May the new year bring you peace, joy, and happiness.
