Subject: Oh no. We forgot to mention something.

And it happens next week...

Hi Friend,

When we sent out our monthly newsletter earlier this week and told you about our upcoming board meeting on Tuesday, March 16th at 4:30 pm (PST), we forgot to mention that this is no ordinary board meeting - it's our Annual Meeting. This meeting is an opportunity for us to take a quick look back at the past year, and what a year it was. Then, we will turn our sights to our shared future and everything we hope to accomplish during the next year so that communities can start every day with clean water. Every month members of the community register for and attend our Board Meetings to get a more in-depth look into your work. If you have been thinking about checking it out, the Annual Meeting is the one you don't want to miss. And it will be a great prelude to our World Water Day fundraiser later in the month. Join us! Everyone is welcome.

After registering you'll be sent an email with a link to the meeting. If you don't see the email, please check your SPAM folder. If you find it in your SPAM folder, please make sure that in your email client you identify the email as 'Not SPAM'. This will ensure future communications are sent to your inbox.

If you have any difficulties joining, please contact will@friendlywater.org.

WORLD WATER DAY FUNDRAISER

Speaking of our World Water Day fundraiser, we wanted to share something perhaps best sung by Elton John.

Saturday! Saturday! Saturday!

Saturday! Saturday! Saturday!

Saturday! Saturday! Saturday night's alright

That's right. Saturday night's alright for attending our World Water Day fundraiser - if you're on the east coast. If you're out west, it'll have to be Saturday afternoon's alright.

On Saturday, March 27th from 4:00-5:30 PM PST, join us on Zoom to celebrate World Water Day with our global community of friends. We are excited to tell you about our big plans for 2021 and share how changes to our program that you have made possible over the last year are making a difference right now.

The United Nations started the #Water2me social media hashtag to start a conversation about what water means to you. How is water important to your home and family life, your livelihood, your cultural practices, your wellbeing, and your local environment? We would love to know what you think. Tell us by visiting our website. We've created a special home page just to hear what you have to say.
