Dear Friend,
Great news to share!
I've had a major review accepted for publication in a peer reviewed medical journal. It’s titled: “The Abortion and Mental Health Controversy: A Comprehensive Literature Review of Common Ground Agreements, Disagreements, Actionable Recommendations, and Research Opportunities.”
I must confess (or brag?) that it is long -- 32,000 words long. But it clears up a lot of misconceptions by showing how pro-abortion researchers are actually admitting to the dangers of abortion, while also exposing the ways in which they downplay this admission using sketchy research methods.
My review has been blessed with very positive peer review comments. So I’m anxious to have it available to as many people as possible. As soon as it's published, I'll send you a link so you can download a copy to share with friends, colleagues, legislators, attorneys and others.
But here's something else you can do to help.
Would you be willing make a donation to cover the $825 open source publication charge? This is a fee that medical journals charge to make a an article available to all Internet readers free of charge. Otherwise, most medical journals will charge non-subscribers between $25 and $80 to download an article.
By paying this fee, we will make this major literature review available to the whole world, free of charge. Can you help?
Since I’m asking for favors, here is one more request.
We've been talking with an online marketing company about doing a three-month search engine and social media optimization campaign for us. The cost would be $474. Given that we have been running a deficit every year, even with a budget of less than $95,000, I’ve long felt that we can’t afford such consulting services.
On the other hand, most of our education and outreach efforts happen online. While our sites are already highly ranked for terms such as “abortion risks” and “post-abortion healing,” I’m certain we could rank much higher if we implemented better techniques. This ensures that our sites are among the among the first people see when they are looking for information.
What do you think? Should we invest to grow? If you would like to see us invest in efforts to improve our Internet outreach, please let us know with your next donation.
While these projects don't cost much, they are fairly large expenses for us given the size of our budget. Your donation is vital so we can reach more people with the truth about abortion's harm -- whether they are policy makers, activists or women or men facing pressure or encouragement to abort. So, if you haven't already made a donation to our fall fundraising campaign (or you would like to give again), please consider doing so in order to help us reach more people with life-changing information and help. Thank you for helping us spread the truth! And know you are always in my prayers.
Sincerely yours for Life in Christ, David C. Reardon, Ph.D. Director P.S. -- Our fall fundraiser has been running for a few weeks now. So far we've raised $14,030. We still need to raise $7,970 by Oct. 31st. Please help us reach that goal with your donation today.
