Eight Hour Surgery for Cancer.
Amy Sobie, Elliot Institute Manager,
Needs Prayers and Financial Support

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your prayers and support for Amy.  I just wanted to let you know that she underwent an 8 hour surgery today to remove the cancerous tissues in her body.  She is in recovery now.

I also want to thank those who donated to help cover her medical costs.  $1860 has already been raised.

If you did not see the previous email, last week learned that my co-director of the Elliot Institute, Amy Sobie, has advanced stage ovarian cancer.

It is expected that about four to six weeks after the surgery, Amy will begin chemo treatments for about 18 weeks.

Please pray for her, her family and her medical team.

We would all be so grateful if you could supplement your prayers for Amy with financial support.

Your gift towards Amy's medical care will be treated by the IRS as a gift to another person.  She won't pay taxes on it.  But it is not a tax deductible gift to the Elliot Institute.
It is a gift to Amy Sobie, personally, managed through the GoFundMe platform.

Please join me in both praying for Amy and giving a gift to help her through this medical crisis.

If you have your own ministry, please consider sharing this request for Amy with your own email list.  Thank you.

Yours for Life in Christ,

David C. Reardon, Director
Elliot Institute
