Inspiring State Fair 4-H Speech - The Missing Third
 From pro-life booths to prize giveaways to speeches, there are many ways to reach new people at state and county fairs. Nicole's speech is an eloquent example. She defends life while also expressing compassion for mothers at risk or hurt by abortion. It is a tribute to a generation of young voices willing to speak up for the rights and lives of both the unborn and women at risk.
Whatever your outreach, you can use our new evidence and research-based pro-woman/pro-life resources to update and expand your pro-woman/pro-life message. We can reach new audiences with new evidence that most abortions are unwanted or coerced, not fully and fairly informed, or freely and fairly "chosen" as widely presumed.
We also have facts about aftereffects in user-friendly handouts. This can deter those considering or coercing abortion, educate the public, and close the loopholes that enable lucrative abortion businesses to profit from looking the other way or using coercive tactics themselves.
Educate Fair-Goers About Unwanted Abortions
You can help the public understand that most abortions are unwanted or coerced, and that this is a violation of the rights of women, too. Help educate the public about the nature of coercion:
- It can take direct and indirect forms, often coming from all sides during a narrow window of vulnerability.
- It may include deceptive or false counseling in schools, hospitals, helping professions, public institutions, or via medical coercion by physicians or other health care professionals.
- It may also involve abuse of authority or domestic abuse that can escalate to violence. (Homicide is the #1 killer of pregnant women.)
- It may involve shopping mall storefronts that refer youth or women to clinics that push abortion.
- It may involve profit-driven women's clinics that advertise free or low-cost health care and coerce abortion if women learn they're pregnant.
The public doesn't know that unwanted or even forced abortions are happening in America, too!
The reality of unwanted abortions reflects assault on the fundamental human rights of babies, mothers and families ... a message we can and must take to the American public.
State and county fairs are a great place to reach them!
