Spring & Plan-Ahead Event Calendar

Timely Opportunities, Resources & Tools

Now and in the months ahead, the media and major national organizations will be focusing on certain events. This is an ideal time to educate the public and our own leaders about unwanted (illegal) abortions and post-abortion injury, heartbreak and maternal death rates, plus resources for help, hope and healing.

Highlights of upcoming events are listed below, with links to related supporting educational tools. Check our Events Calendar for other opportunities and resources.

MAY

Mother's Day Outreach
Sunday, May 8th. Many ways to participate. 1) Pray, 2) Share or post materials, e.g., cards, flyers, ads, bookmarks or posters, 3) Educate the public using our tools and tips.

Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month
Schools, media and others will be discussing these issues. It's a good time to educate people about what's at stake, including coercion to abort in schools, homes, even shopping malls, and about serious, even deadly aftereffects. 1)  Teens page: Tools for parents, teens & schools, 2) Legal help for teens (or others) being coerced, plus letters notifying teens, and parents/others who coerce and abortionists that unwanted abortions (even under current lax laws) are illegal. 3)  Elliot Institute's Special Report: Teens and Abortion.

Mental Health Month Share information and details. Resources at theunchoice.com/unsafe.htm and research fact sheets, including physical risks, psychological risks, summaries of academic research and more.

Back-to-School

Share ads, flyers and materials to educate while deterring individuals and families still at risk and help those still hurting. This includes some teens, mothers and families at risk or already broken by post-abortion trauma, heartbreak or even suicide. Save lives. Share the gift of truth, compassion and hope.
