Subject: The UnLetter: Father's Day Outreach, Over 30 States + Global Partners

The UnLetter Follow-Up

A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. -Proverbs 11:24-25

On Father's Day, we reached another often-forgotten casualty of the abortion wars: dads.

Many have been directly or indirectly affected in so many visible and less visible, but no less significant, ways.

Thanks to everyone who participated or who told someone else about the Elliot Institute's Father's Day Outreach 2011. Every ad or flyer was a mustard seed of faith that is sure to grow today and for years to come.

Over 30 States, plus International Reach and a 10% Increase in Participation!

The 2011 event was a great success, with 10 percent more registered participants than last year plus many other individuals and groups who notified us by email, phone, in-person or online that they planned to participate.

People from around the world took part. This included prayer partners, pastors and pro-life groups; students, parents and families; professional organizations and civic groups. Each shared ad or flyer represented seeds planted and lives saved ... sometimes, two or more at a time as today's abortion was prevented or a despairing soul found a new way.

Who participated? People from Dunlap to Dublin, Fairfield to Fresno, San Pablo to Port Elizabeth, Eastlake to West Haverstraw, Indy to Erie, Gainsville to Abbeville, New York to New Zealand, Foam Lake to Fox Lake, Towson to Tullahoma, Ocean Springs to Springfield, San Francisco, CA, to Santa Claus, IN, Greensboro to Jonesboro to Owensboro, Cagliari to Calgary to Cagayan de Oro and beyond ... an encouraging cross-section of America and the world!

How did it go in your corner of the world? Exchange ideas on our Church Awareness blog!

Check our Church Awareness Project blog for the complete list of participating places and watch for our next evidence-based outreach, including State Fair booths, October or January right-to-life events, ads, rally signs and conversation starters, plus a new evidence-based Signature Ad, Christmas and other holiday ads.

You can also keep the momentum going by sharing the Elliot Institute's Special Report: Men and Abortion and our Men's Page throughout the year.

Thanks again to all who took an interest in this important outreach. Plan ahead to take part next year, too! Please post on our Church Awareness Project blog to share your experiences and feedback. Share ideas with others about what worked, what didn't and what might work even better in 2012!
