New Versions of "Need to Know" Series

Our popular "What Every American Needs to Know" series of postcards and ad/flyers provide a great introductory message to share with anyone new to this issue. They tell "the rest of the story" by summarizing both "pre-abortion" and "post-abortion" evidence. This is an important, holistic snapshot of how abortion assaults the rights and lives of both the unborn and women.

Coercing ab
ortion is illegal, even under current liberal abortion laws, yet few realize that it's common. Few also realize that before or after abortion, women are dying, too, their deaths rarely even counted as statistics.

New Version for Use Outside of America

In response to recent requests, we have developed new, global-audience versions of the flyer and postcard for use outside of America. The headline for these versions now reads:  "What You Need to Know the Rest of the Abortion Story." The text remains the same, only the headline changes to reach various audiences.

Customizable Co-Op Versions!

Some versions are available in co-op format like the image above which features a boxed area at the bottom to add local contact information, a sponsorship logo or other information. Or, the standard flyers are still available with your choice of headline and no box at the bottom. See the complete list of available versions below, with a link to the main page where you can see or download versions. (Learn more about co-op ads here.)

Handy postcard Templates, Too

This message is available in postcard format, too, which you can print, mail or distribute. Keep cards on hand to share when the topic comes up. Or, keep them for yourself as a handy reminder of important new "big picture" statistics. It's a quick way to get someone up to speed on how abortion represents an assault on the rights and lives of women, too. They are sized to fit common postcard sizes and templates, such as Avery or other brands available at office-supply stores and other retailers.

Master Page and Links for "Need to Know" Series

You'll find links to all of the downloadable documents for each of the formats listed below at theunchoice.com/whateveryamerican.htm. The text of each flyer remains the same, except the headlines, which have slight variances for each group.

For example, if you belong to a women's group or a men's group, you may want to advertise in their newsletter or magazine using a gender-specific message. You can use them as envelope stuffers, post or forward on the internet, or hand out cards or flyers at the next meeting, at state fair booths, health fairs, school programs, etc.

An Important Reminder

Many of these materials were made possible by the help of generous volunteers and the support of a very short list of sustaining partners. Thanks to them and other partners, we are seeing momentum-changes in education, legislative and outreach arenas.

The Elliot Institute's groundwork is working on many fronts. The UnChoice campaign; the Church Awareness Project; academic research, presentations, media outreach, books and publications; clinic-closing legislation that holds abortionists responsible for failing to screen for coercion (most abortions) and other exploitation and harm to women; opening doors to healing and saving lives two at a time; and so much more ... all yielding real returns in the effort to expose and stop the injustices and end abortion sooner rather than later.

The tide is turning!

We're saving many, many lives along the way. Yet, just as tides turn, we are facing a serious, potentially door-closing financial crisis. If you find this work helpful, please consider volunteer or financial support today.

Please light one candle today and God bless you as our valuable partner in this work. It matters!
