The UnLetter: Resource Update
Never underestimate the power of a simple tool." - Craig Bruce These Mothers Were Locked In or Locked Out. But We Have the Keys to Unlock the Door to a Better Day.
Listen to the 1st of 4 Updated 60-Second Radio Spots
"A simple tool" can be used for good or evil. It may be a key that locks a pregnant daughter in her room until her parents take her to the clinic for an abortion. It may be the key used by a homeless shelter to lock out unwelcome mothers. It may be the tools to abuse power by gatekeepers, guides or authorities who find a pregnant mother inconvenient.
Or, on a brighter note: it may be evidence-based marketing tools with the power to shed light on pivotal issues! These are keys that will be used:
- to expose the exploitation, injustice and criminality of coercion,
- to open the doors to real help and real hope for individuals and families at risk or already hurt,
- to open the doors in our community to new understanding, dignity, respect, healing and restoration.
The keys to success - evidence-based marketing
For over two decades, the Elliot Institute has been proactively engaged in academic research, education and outreach regarding abortion's impact -- before, during or after abortion. This includes widespread coercion, which is a heartbreaking, illegal and internationally recognized human rights abuse, yet is seldom reported.
Our radio ads focus the public's attention first on coercion before abortion (illegal, cruel and unjust) and further heartbreak after abortion.
Updated 60-second ads with TheUnChoice.com
Radio ads are affordable ... or perhaps even free if used as Public Service Announcements (PSAs). We've already sent you copies of our new 30-second ads. Now, we'll be sending you the 60-second ads. Each has been updated with current research and TheUnChoice.com web address -- a name which reframes the issue, while dismissing altogether deceptive rhetoric about "choice."

This ad is based on true stories, like that of a woman who reported that she was turned away from a homeless shelter for being pregnant, and then driven by shelter staff first to an ATM, and then to an abortion clinic.
Such stories are not what the public thinks is happening in the name of "choice!" Click on this link to download and listen the ad: "Coerced" :60 radio spot #1
