The UnLetter: Resource Update

Never underestimate the power of a simple tool." - Craig Bruce

"Ignore her if she gets a little teary."
When parents, criminals, employers or others
in positions of power or authority "choose" abortion ...

Listen to the 3rd of 4 Updated 60-Second Radio Spots

  • A mother pushes her daughter at gunpoint into a clinic and tells the staff to "ignore her if she gets a little teary."

  • A father rapes his daughter for nine years, forcing a total of 10 abortions before someone finally turned him in.

  • A woman who was 6 months' pregnant testified that her boss threatened to push her down a flight of stairs when she resisted his demands that she get an abortion.

To put it mildly, these are not portraits of "choice" by any humane standard. Coerced abortion is illegal and an internationally recognized human rights abuse, yet it happens routinely in America and beyond.

Furthermore, the public continues to believe misleading rhetoric about "choice" when evidence shows most abortions (not all) are unwanted or coerced. Countless individuals and families are at risk or already hurt and left alone to absorb abortion's significant aftereffects.

The UnChoice ads can re-focus the public's attention on new evidence that abortion is not about authentic choice and also about post-abortion injury, risk and heartbreak that is literally and figuratively killing women, too.

The third of our 60-second radio ads focuses on new evidence about coercion and shows the many forms and faces that coercion takes. It tells "the rest of the story" about abortion.

Grounded in and guided by over 20 years' expertise

For over two decades, the Elliot Institute has been proactively engaged in academic research, education and outreach regarding abortion's impact -- before, during or after abortion. This includes evidence of widespread coercion, which is a heartbreaking, illegal and internationally recognized human rights abuse that is seldom reported.

Our radio ads are grounded in and guided by this expertise. The UnChoice campaign focuses the public's attention first on coercion before abortion (illegal, cruel and unjust) and further heartbreak after abortion that can shatter women, men and families.

Tap the power of evidence-based pro-woman/pro-life marketing

A growing body of academic evidence exposes the truth while it underscores and updates the debate. And radio ads are affordable ... or perhaps even free if used as Public Service Announcements (PSAs)!  Each of the 60-second ads has been updated with current research plus TheUnChoice.com web address -- a name which reframes the issue, while dismissing altogether misleading rhetoric about "choice."

Listen to the third of four 60-second "The UnChoice" radio ads

This ad is based on true stories, like that of the young woman literally pushed at gunpoint before someone intervened and stopped the abortion ... the serial assault victim forced into 10 abortions ... the employee who faced physical assault that endangered her and her unborn child when she resisted abortion.

Such stories are not what the public thinks is happening in the name of "choice!" Click on this link to download and listen the ad:
