A Father's Day Outreach for Men and Families
Hurt by Abortion

Many men have b
een directly or indirectly involved in or affected by abortion. Some lost not only an unborn child or grandchild but beloved daughters, sisters, wives or friends to pregnancy- or abortion-related abuses and violence or post-abortion harm, heartbreak or even suicide.

Our Father's Day Outreach is a great project for men's groups and student, civic, church or other individual and group projects. It raises awareness, extends compassion and opens doors, while also educating the public about abortion's impact on men.

You can participate by downloading and sharing our Father's Day Ads. Here are some ideas for how you can use them:

  1. Run as an ad in a local newspaper or other publication

  2. Make copies of an ad and distribute as flyers

  3. Forward or post the ad online or ask group leaders to use/share it

  4. Share our Facebook event invitation with your friends on Facebook or Twitter

  5. Post an ad on a bulletin board at your church, library or another venue (get any necessary permissions first)

  6. Make copies of an ad and insert it into a bulletin or newsletter

  7. Distribute our bookmarks or message cards to others

  8. Leave copies of the ads or message cards at your church or ask your local family-friendly bookstore or other businesses if you may post or leave copies for their patrons to pick up

  9. Tell local civic and church leaders about the project and ask them to share materials or speak about this issue

Co-op versions: add your own message

imageCo-op ads or flyers, like the one shown here, feature a space where you can add information about local resources, announce an event or include information about your sponsoring organization.

Or consider having someone from a local post-abortion healing group give a talk on this issue or share their own story, and promote the event using a co-op ad. To select the co-op version, simply click on the co-op link below each ad.

These materials will encourage individuals and families who have already been hurt by abortion and educate the public about abortion's harm to men. They will also challenge leaders about unwanted abortions and other risks endangering the unborn, women, men and families among us.
