The Gosnell Conviction, One Year Later
(And Why It's Still Important)

One year ago today, Kermit Gosnell was convicted on multiple charges for crimes committed as his "House of Horrors" abortion business in Philadelphia. Those crimes included first-degree murder charges in the deaths of three babies who survived abortion and were killed by having their spinal cords "snipped," and a third-degree murder charge in the death of Karnamaya Mongar, who went into cardiac arrest and died as a result of undergoing an abortion.

The Grand Jury report revealed the many other people knew of the horrific conditions at Gosnell's clinic but simply looked the other way ... and even referred patients to him. In the wake of the case, abortion advocates continue to insist that Gosnell was an "outlier" and to fight even the most common sense abortion clinic regulations.

As Students for Life of America president Kristan Hawkins noted, "Make no mistake about it, there are more Kermit Gosnells out there, preying on the desperation of women and relying on the powerful lobbying forces of Planned Parenthood to fight any commonsense safety standards so they can remain in the shadows, making their millions."

We can't forget about the Gosnell case or the ongoing danger posed to unborn children and their mothers, fathers and families. Below is a roundup of articles and resources to read and share:
