Dear Friend,
Earlier this week I emailed how the Ford
Foundation gave $300,000 to Catholics
for Free Choice.
Bemoaning our lack of support from
foundations, I asked you, and our other
5700 newsletter recipients, to consider
responding to the Ford Foundation
Challenge by helping us to balance our
budget before our fiscal year ends on
June 30th.
We had only 8 donors, but the total was
$2230.
Wow! Thank you!
I want to extend a very special thank
you to a supporter from Colorado who
sent $1030 and to another from Germany
who sent $1000.
We seldom see such large donations, so
we are truly humbled by your trust and
thankful for your generosity.
Now, if you are one of the roughly 5,692
who did not yet get a chance to donate,
there's still time.

I know that you are unlikely to have
$1000 to spare, but $10 or $20 might be
feasible.
While we truly do appreciate the large
donations (who wouldn't?!), the number
that I watch most closely is the
percentage of people on our email and
mailing lists who actually support our work.
My goal is to have at least one in
ten--just 10%--of those who have signed
up for our information willing to
support us with at least one donation
per year. A donation of any size,
whether $10 or $100.
While we won't hit 570 donors this year,
we still have a shot at 356, if you
donate today.

356 donors is like having a donation per
day.
And that's like getting a pat on the
back every day. A word of
encouragement. A reminder that people
are praying for us and supporting us,
every day.
So, help us get to 365 donors. And what
ever you can give will get us that much
closer to $3,000, equaling 1% of what
the Ford Foundation gave Catholics for
Free Choice.
Please donate today:

Thanks again for your support and prayers!
Yours for Life in Christ,
David C. Reardon, Ph.D.

P.S. -- Since I'm such a lousy fund
raiser, I've setup a page on our website
where you can help us explain to others
why you support our work and they
should, too.
