Subject: Promoting Healing During the Holidays and Beyond

The UnLetter

An update on user-friendly resources, ideas & information, education & outreach backed by the latest research, which changes conventional wisdom about abortion ... The UnChoice.

The UnChoice:  (thē un´-chois) noun ...

Most abortions are unwanted or coerced. Many are forced.
Homicide is the #1 killer of pregnant women. Pregnancy-related abuses
and injustices and post-abortion injury, grief,
trauma and death, including suicide, are an urgent concern.
These and other risks neglect the rights and endanger both the unborn and women. Save lives two at a time today, while ending abortion with compassion. Encourage hope, healing and authentic support.

Christmas outreach

A profound gift for those hurting during the holidays

God, why?
A young woman's story reminds us why this outreach is so urgent

Donations still urgently needed
You'll save lives--two at a time--today, end abortion with compassion and create a more pro-woman/pro-life/pro-family culture tomorrow

Run a compassionate signature ad that works 5 ways

The stained-glass rose image in our healing Signature Ad is a reminder that God can restore what is broken. This ad saves lives two--or more--at a time. It's based on updated research that can work 5 ways:

1) It saves babies.

2) It saves mothers who are at risk or already hurt.

3) It helps educate the public about unwanted or coerced abortion and other pregnancy-related abuses and post-abortion risks. This will deter abortions, prevent despair, and defend the rights of both mothers and unborn children.

4) It encourages hope; and

5) it works to end abortion with compassion.

It's not too late to use this ad (with or without signatures) in January to send a pro-life/pro-woman message while also reaching those considering or coercing abortion ... or even those driven to despair in abortion's aftermath.

You can save lives two at a time by running this ad next month. Or, plan ahead to an ad on Mother's Day, during Respect Life Month in October, or even next January. Visit our healing ads page to see our Mother's Day ad and other healing ads.

During these times, the media will already be covering these issues. Many will appreciate a new story angle, new supporting facts, and a compassionate approach to this issue.

Don't forget to check our Advocacy & Outreach section for sample letters to the editor and letters to politicians, or use our small ads or message cards  to run or distribute in January or anytime. As one of our supporters recently noted, "This an easy way to inform/educate about the truth surrounding abortion at very low cost."

Also, check our events calendar often for timely short-term and plan-ahead ideas. You can also use our sample press release as a guide to send to local media.

Christmas outreach

A profound gift for those hurting during the holidays.

The holidays can be hard for those who have lost a child or a daughter, sister, wife or friend to pregnancy-related abuse, abortion or post-abortion complications and heartbreak.

This encouraging flyer will lift someone's spirits near you and may well save one or several lives, while educating the public, too. Use it as a flyer, a bulletin-board poster or a newsletter insert.

Or consider running one of our healing ads in a newspaper or other publication. Remember that civic or religious and trade publications are an affordable way to reach people. Or, post it on-line with a message of compassion and a reminder that most abortions are unwanted or coerced and many teens and others remain at risk for unwanted or coerced abortion. Plus those who coercing or considering abortion will be deterred by new evidence of physical, spiritual and psychological aftereffects.

Change lives two-- or more-- at a time today; change the culture tomorrow!

All of these resources are available to use for free, but please make a donation to support this work if you can! And be sure to see our terms of use page before using these materials.

God, why? ... So many young scared faces

It's stories like the one below that remind us of why this outreach is so urgently needed.

"My mother decided I should have an abortion ... When I walked into the abortion clinic I remember seeing so many young, scared faces just like mine. I remember waking up in a room all alone and scared."

Read more of this story here.

Donations are urgently needed

Remember, you can use these and many of our other resources free of charge. But if you can make a donation to help cover our costs, this would be greatly appreciated. We rely on the generosity of our donors to help support our research and educational efforts and allow this work to continue.
