As I emailed last week, the Ford Foundation
just gave $300,000 to Catholics for Free
Choice.

That's a lot more than our entire $120,000
per year budge--from a single donor!

So we are asking everyone on our email list
to help us close our $8,000 year end budget
gap during what I call "Ford Foundation Challenge."



We have two goals.

First, to raise at least 1% of Ford's
$300,000 gift, just $3000.

Second, to increase our number of donors for
this fiscal year up to 365. That's only
seven people per state, plus 15 foreign
donors.



The good news is that generous donations
from 18 people have brought in $3,226!

That's a big chunk out of our $8,000 budget
gap. Thank you!


The bad news is that we have had only 317
donors during the last 12 months.

With email and mail lists of over 5,700
people, that means just one in twenty people
is actually donating.


You can help us improve our donor ratio, and
also help nibble away at the remaining $5000
budget gap.
