(Dec 16, 2019) — Abortion changes lives forever.  It is no wonder then that abortion is showing up more frequently in literature, especially in autobiographies.

The latest entry into this field was written by Former Texas State Representative Molly White.  Titled Deceived: God Brought Purpose from My Pain, White takes the reader through the traumatic events that led up to and followed an abortion decision. 

Following her abortion, White struggled with alcohol and drug abuse, shame, guilt, anger, and depression, even thoughts of suicide. Deceived tells the raw and candid stories of her two abortions, the negative impact those had on her life and family, and her miraculous salvation and healing journey, including a political career through which she became a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
