Rituals: Walk through the dark woods
This is my process to work through a fear and release it. I explained this process in this live stream: watch it to get more clarity and guidance on how to work through your fears!
Shadow work: journal around your fear and get to the root of it. Ask yourself questions like: “What am I scared of? And then what happens? And what happens to those around me? What’s the result of this?”
This serves two purposes: FIRST, you might get to the root of that fear which is usually a big “umbrella fear” (example: fear of dissolving into nothing, or fear of being completely separated from source of love, or fear of dying and then becoming nothing, or fear of suffering, or fear of leaving someone behind). SECOND, it helps you play out different scenarios and realise that maybe it’s not that bad (even if your worst fear becomes reality).
Body work: where does this fear show up in your body? Can you really feel into it? Can you breathe into it, make space for it, let it overcome you for a few seconds? Can you really look in the face of your fear? Release.
Energy work: Bring your fear to the light of God, let the universal energy take care of it. What is the limiting belief around your fear? Reprogram your fear with what universal energy wants it to be reprogrammed (what’s most useful for your true Self).
Take consistent action: Most of the times fears look big to us because we are not looking at them, but we get at them from all these different places, they can dissolve really quickly. Take action.
Example: when I realised that my fear of going live was related to my fear of dying and suffering then it was much easier to get on live (even if my palms got pretty sweaty the first times). Mind you: it was impossible for me to go live until not even a year ago, let alone talking about personal stuff I really care about like I do now.
It is possible to get over your fear, because fear is of the Ego, and that's not who You truly are. You are Soul. |
