are you in a rut, feeling like you have NO IDEA on what to post next?
Today I'll give you 6 quick tips to quickly find a ton of social media content for your profiles!
- Get clear on WHO is that you’re writing content for. I can’t stress this enough, and if you’re tired of hearing it, it means you need to hear it more, and some more!
Who is that person?
What does she or he needs?
Why would he or she be interested in what you’re writing?
What is her or his PROBLEM? - Make a list of the places this person hangs out in and then OBSERVE HIM/HER.
- Use the “Search” bar in the Facebook Groups where your ideal client is. Look for keywords related to the problem you solve.
I usually look for “social media”, “Facebook”, “Instagram”, “Twitter”, “Pinterest”, “Content creation”, “Content”, “Algorithm” and so on, depending on what’s trending at the moment too. Which brings me to point 4 and 5. - Go to Quora, Reddit, Linkedin groups and do the same thing you do on Facebook groups. Look for questions that get asked a lot. Create content around those.
- Use Buzz Sumo. Go to BuzzSumo. com and type some keywords (one at a time). Now, look at the most shared articles. Take notes: those are hot topics in your industry. Create some content around those. (PS: if you prefer, Pinterest is a good place to do this too: what are some of the most re-pinned articles in your industry?)
- TAKE NOTES. You need to have a place where you collect all the information you find and that you can refer to when you go about creating content.
Whenever you’re scrolling Facebook, you’re answering on Facebook groups or you’re listening to people talk, take notes of the problems they have. Jot down the questions they ask.
