Subject: BlockBase+ Beta: Final Update Available (Windows 1.0.1.4 and Mac 3.0.1.4)

Dear Friend,


Thank you again for helping us with this BlockBase+ Beta! A few of you have already noticed the we released the final update for this Beta period yesterday. This final update (Windows version 1.0.1.4 and Mac version 3.0.1.4) resolves the “failed to check for updates” error that many of you experienced. No other fixes are contained in this update.


Please open BlockBase+. If the updater prompt appears, click Yes to install the update. If it doesn’t automatically appear, then on the top menu, choose File > Check for Updates (Windows) or BlockBase Plus > Check for Updates (Mac). The updater prompt will display showing that an update is available.

You must have the most recent Beta version (1.0.1.3 for Windows and 3.0.1.3 for Mac) installed in order for the automatic updater to work properly. If the updater prompt shows that your current version is not 1.0.1.3 or 3.0.1.3, then you cannot test this update. This is fine! But please reply to let me know.

Please let us know if you get any error messages when trying to install this update through the automatic updater in BlockBase+. If everything works as expected, please let us know that too, especially if you previously had trouble with the “failed to check for updates” error message.


IMPORTANT: If you are getting a "download failed" or “failed to check for update” error, please DO NOT go to electricquilt.com and download the update from there. Please send us a bug report and wait for a reply from me so we can try and troubleshoot what is happening. I know this is different from the instructions for the last update. Thanks for sticking with us as we make sure this is all working well.
