As we look forward to our March 28th Grand Reopening, celebrating that Flamig Farm has been valuable and fun experience for all ages for years, we realize the Farm is not immune to real world challenges. Along with other communities and businesses across the country, Flamig Farm is actively planning for and guarding against the possible continued spread of COVID-19 so that we can best protect our staff and visitors.
What the new coronavirus will bring in the coming months is unclear. As such, using national, regional and local public health experts as our guides, we are planning for a variety of scenarios. Each places health and safety above all else.
We understand the unease that comes with uncertainly. Please know that we have the situation in sharp focus and will keep you updated on the Flamig Farm website (www.flamigfarm.com) as plans and protections unfold. We have already taken steps to ensure visitors are safe while having fun. For instance, we have replaced our recyclable plastic grain cups with paper that are new for each visitor. We continue to make hand washing stations available and have plenty of hand sanitizers. With all the open space we have, social distancing is easy. We believe Flamig Farm is one place you can safely come while other, more-crowded activities are restricted.
We hope everyone remains healthy and that we will have another wonderful season of Farm visits.
Sincerely,
Farmers Nevin, Julie, Pete and Chadam
