Storytime...
Back when my girlfriend was working in a beauty salon in her home town.
She was doing a pedicure treatment. While filing a lady's foot, a huge dry flake of skin flicked up and flew through the air, rotating beautifully.
It made its direction towards my girlfriends eye and in an instant, her eyelid shut.
But it was too late.
The large flake of dry foot skin landed perfectly on her moist unsuspecting eyeball.
And her eyelid secured it in place.
She was in utter shock, instant internal panic kicked in and she didn't know what to do.
She had a client sitting in front of her. She needed to be professional but she now had this stranger's foot skin getting comfortable in her eye socket.
Knowing her she probably wanted to cry...
But instead, politely excused herself, calmly walked until the client could no longer see her then ran to her manager and quietly screamed...
"TRACEY HELP ME! I have someone's foot in my eye"
Do you know what her manager's response was?
She laughed in my girlfriend's face and said;
"This is why I love working with you Chantelle"
Tracey was no help at all.
Here's a friendly tip. If you ever by any chance find yourself filing someone else's foot be careful because it can be more hazardous than you would imagine.
