My secret sauce was LESS ambition.
I don't: Want to climb the corporate ladder (where does it lead anyway?) Want to grind away for 16 hours a day in the hopes of a possible "promotion" Care for a fancy job title so people think "he's doing well" Want to have to take orders from some just because they're higher on the mythical corporate ladder
Instead: I want to spend more time with my family and friends I want to go to the gym in the middle of the day when it's quiet I want to work on only projects that excite me I want to travel whenever I want without putting in a holiday request form
(I really hated feeling like as a grown-ass adult I had to get permission from someone else to go on holiday)
Figuring out what you actually want from life can send you down a completely different path.
Figure out what's really important to you. Decide how you want to live your life, then work backward from there.
Live intentionally.
Are you following someone else's life plan or designing your own?
Stay rebellious,
Jouvan
PS - If you want to design a life you love and get paid to live it, then THIS VIDEO will help.
