Every so often I like to look up case studies of how different online biz'nises make the green stuff, the moolah, the gwop etc.

Today I came across a website selling lightsabers. Yes, the things from Star Wars that could slice you in half.

They make 7,423 bux profit per month.

I then like to think "if I owned this site what would I do to increase revenue?"

I had a few ideas...

Firstly they have no real media presence just the Shopify store. I would change that, I would make us the #1 lightsaber expert in the world.

If you Google any question about lightsabers we would pop up with the answer.

I would create a social media presence and tap into the die-hard Star Wars fan base.

You would see cool videos of our customers using our products, cool vids of us using the products. Our TikTok game would be strong AF.

I would toy with the idea of launching digital products, we could offer a lightsaber video martial arts class.

We could launch a paid monthly membership, where they get exclusive content, discounts, unadvertised products, etc. for a monthly fee.

It could be called the "Secret Lightsaber Alliance". With a purchase of any lightsaber, you get an optional 30 day free trial in the alliance.

This gives the business an instant opportunity for recurring revenue which would instantly increase the value of the business, it would also increase profits.

Anyway, that's just a few of the ideas I had.

This is just a little exercise that I like to do every now and then to keep the idea engine in tip-top shape.
