Subject: 7 sobering facts about alcohol

So I had a pretty heavy weekend and the effects of the alcohol are still lingering in my body.

So I decided to look up some alcoholism-related facts to share with you in the hopes you learn from my mistake and are aware of the dangers before you get wasted this upcoming weekend.

  1. Alcohol is deadly - I know the hangover feels like you may be dying but 95,000 people each year in the USA actually die from alcohol related causes.

  2. Alcohol is linked to assault - How many times have you seen people start to fight or want to fight as soon as the alcohol starts flowing

  3. Alcoholism controls your life -  You won't know you're addicted until its too late and you can't stop drinking

  4. Alcohol is deadlier to teens than any drug - It may be because of the availability but we can't ignore that alcohol kills more teens than all illegal drugs combined.

  5. Alcohol has a common ingredient with gasoline - yes, both gasoline and alcohol have ethanol. So you're basically drinking an ingredient you put in your car.

  6. Your brain changes when you drink - Drinking alcohol can have lasting side effects that include memory loss, confusion and impaired motor skills.

  7. Alcohol robs you of your memories - when your brain becomes overloaded with alcohol it stops recording new memories, aka alcohol blackouts.
I may save some of these as a reminder before I next drink again.

The fortunate thing for me, is that I have an internet biz that makes me a munnay whether I work or not so I can stay in bed hungover for days on end guilt free.
